Practice Schedule
DEVELOPMENTAL CONDITIONING
- MON 4:30-5:30 and 5:30-7:30
- TUES 6:30-8:30
- WED 4:30-5:30 and 5:30-7:30
- THU 6:30-8:30
- FRI 4:30-5:30 and 5:30-7:30
- SAT 7-8:30 (will be held only if swimmers sign up each week)
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are primarily focused on technique and stroke development. Swimmers ages 6-9 stay for the first hour only, while the older/more experienced swimmers stay for the remaining two hours.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are primarily used for endurance and conditioning. There will be both aerobic and anaerobic workouts, and some days will be primarily freestyle while others are spent on the other strokes. These practices are not recommended for swimmers younger than 10 years old. |
